Sand Le Mere: one of the finest holiday parks on the Yorkshire coast.

Sand Le Mere holiday village on the coast in Tunstall, near to Hull, is unveiling £4 million of developments for the 2012 summer holiday season.

New pool and leisure complex

The massive investment includes a new indoor pool complex, contemporary show lounge, children’s soft play area and a new restaurant, bar, café and takeaway.

The latest development follows a £1 million injection into new accommodation and landscaping in 2011.

Sand Le Mere is surrounded by sandy beaches and stunning countryside and within easy reach of numerous attractions: Hull and Beverley are both superb for shopping, The Deep is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world and Spurn Point is beautiful for bird watching, walking or just a day out with the family.

When complete in May, Sand Le Mere’s new facilities will include an indoor swimming complex with splash zone, sauna and steam room; a family show lounge for star cabaret, bingo and quizzes; amusements, crazy golf and a new shop. There is also an energetic kids’ club where your tots will meet new friends.

There is also a fishing lake stocked with Carp, Perch, Roach and Tench and rod licences from as little as £15 per week, or free sea-fishing from nearby Tunstall beach.
