Established in 1987, Plants of Distinction is run by just five ‘hands on’ people with over 130 years experience between them. Their intention was to produce and sell rare or unusual vegetable seeds and plants and Plants of Distinction quickly acquired a reputation for something different with the emphasis being on perennials.
‘Simply Vegetables’ was launched as a specialist vegetable catalogue to meet public demand. It has raced to the ‘top of the table’ this time for unusual vegetables, in particular Tomatoes and Peppers listing no less than 200 Heirloom Tomatoes and 60 varieties of Sweet and Chilli Peppers.
As you would expect from their name, their aim is to keep their prices as low as possible without compromising on the quality.
